We are looking for an experienced individual to manage the Café at Carvers Clubhouse on Saturdays. Carvers Clubhouse is a small and friendly community centre in Ringwood, built for the enjoyment of children and young people in the town.

Although this would suit someone with experience in hospitality and able to prepare the food on the menu,  we are willing to work with and train someone with the right personal qualities into the role. The successful candidate(s) will need to have a mature attitude, be flexible and proactive and able to create a warm and friendly environment for all. As the most senior member of staff working you need to be comfortable working without supervision.

Opening hours are Saturday 10-5.  Ideally the right candidate would be available to cover a minimum of one additional shift a week during school holidays, work on special event days and the occasional cover for annual leave of other team members. £12.21 per hour (pay review pending).

To apply please read the Job Description Person Specification – Carvers Cafe Supervisor and complete the application form Application Form Cafe Supervisor or email the Town Council at town.council@ringwood.gov.uk.    We will interview potential applicants as they apply.

The successful candidate will be subject to a basic DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.

For an informal discussion, contact Charmaine Bennett on charmaine.bennett@ringwood.gov.uk.
