Carvers Recreation Ground is a 6 acre open space. We have two football goals, a skate park and a table tennis table which are available to use all day, every day. Own equipment required although we have spares available when the Clubhouse is open.
During school holidays the Ringwood Town Council courts at the back of the recreation ground towards Ringwood School will be open on the following days and times:
Mondays: 10am to 4.30pm
Tuesdays to Saturdays: 10am to 5pm
Sundays:11 am to 3pm

Carvers Kayak Club | evenings

This summer, Spinnaker Lake is the venue for an exciting series of water activities for children, organized by Ethical Activities. We’re offering five evening sessions during the summer holidays at no cost, beginning on the 30th of July. The sessions are designed to give priority to children who have recently faced challenges, including family issues, financial hardship, caring responsibilities, or difficulties at school. We’ve collaborated with schools to select those who would benefit the most. Additionally, we have a few spots remaining and maintain a waiting list for any last-minute openings.
No swimming ability is needed; buoyancy aids will be provided and free transport is available from Carvers Recreation Ground, departing at 17:30 and returning at 19:30.
To Register – they are using an app called SPOND for all communications and bookings. To register your child:

Simon from Ceratopia has illustrated almost thirty children’s picture books, and written some of them too. He regularly visits Hampshire schools to talk about the topics covered by some of the books and run workshops. So we are delighted to welcome him to Carvers for a FREE cartoon workshop. Suitable for children and young people aged 7+. Parents/carers should stay on site if their child is not yet old enough to be out unsupervised.
