Ringwood Under 1s

Introducing Ringwood Under1s!

We are delighted to announce a new group – Ringwood Under1s! This group is specially designed for parents/carers and their babies under 1 year old. Starting in September, it will run weekly from Carvers Clubhouse.

About the Under 1s Club

We are excited to invite you to attend Ringwood Under 1s, a community initiative dedicated to providing the best possible start in life for babies in Ringwood and Fordingbridge. The group offers a welcoming space for parents to connect with others who have similarly aged children, fostering a supportive environment for both parents and babies.

The group is run by Ringwood Town Council with support and funding from STARF – a local charity which believes that all local families should have the support they need to develop and grow. It will run weekly on Thursday from 10am to 11:30am starting in September. More details of our launch event will be published soon.

Our Goals:

  • Provide a place to meet other parents: With a new baby you are never alone but its very usual to feel lonely. Ringwood Under 1s will provide a space for you to meet other mums and dads to meet other parents and feel part of a group.
  • Enhance early development: Through play and interaction, we aim to support the cognitive, physical, social, and emotional well-being of babies.
  • Connect parents with resources: We strive to link parents with local services and resources, ensuring they are aware of the available support and encouraging engagement with other community groups as their children grow.
