About the Under 1s Club

The Under 18s Sexual Health Clinic is held on the last Tuesday of every month in the Oak Room, from 3pm to 5pm.

Our clinic is run in partnership with Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. Each month, Denise, Sexual Health Outreach Nurse, attends the Oak Room to provide a confidential, non-judgemental and supportive service specifically for young people under the age of 18.

The clinic offers free advice, information and support around a range of sexual health topics, including contraception, STI testing, healthy relationships and general sexual health concerns.

Our Goals:

  • Provide a safe and welcoming space:
We aim to create an environment where young people feel comfortable accessing advice and support without fear of judgement.

  • Offer confidential sexual health advice:
The clinic provides young people with the opportunity to speak privately with a qualified Sexual Health Outreach Nurse about any concerns or questions they may have.

  • Support informed choices:
We want to help young people understand their options, access accurate information and feel confident making safe and informed decisions about their sexual health and wellbeing.

  • Improve access to local support:
By hosting the clinic within the community, we aim to make sexual health advice and services more accessible for young people in Ringwood and the surrounding area.

  • Promote health, wellbeing and prevention:
The clinic supports young people with contraception advice, STI testing and guidance around positive, healthy relationships, helping to reduce risks and encourage long-term wellbeing.
